Class Act is not just a home for your loved-ones to live-in, it’s an extended family full of love, respect and fun! Class Act was started out of a void that the founders saw in the assisted living category of homes. When looking for a home where the founders’ “Nana” could move into, they initially selected a large facility because of all of the amenities that were promised. But once “Nana” moved in, she was often left alone and was unable to locate the caregivers when she needed help and we discovered that the attention promised was not there once she moved into the facility. When they saw that Nana was experiencing a frustrating level of care, they decided that they could do it differently… and much better. In founding Class Act, they knew that it's not just the size of the house or the number of amenities that make the experience best. It’s the friendships and bonds that are formed between the residents and the warm and friendly caregivers that make the experience outstanding. Class Act is not just a name; it’s the philosophy behind the respect given to each and every member of their extended family of residents. At Class Act, caregivers are hired based on their ability to uphold the high standards of care and attention. Family members of residents often express that they can feel the warmth and love in the homes, and that pride in operation is the main goal of the management of Class Act. At Class Act, they know you have a difficult decision to make for your loved one and they are excited to meet with potential residents and their family, and help however they can. Class Act offers assisted living and memory care in a clean and upbeat environment that features 11 private rooms over the 4000 square foot property. There is a large backyard with walking paths and beautiful gardens where residents and their loved ones can relax in a calm and uplifting environment. Class act is located near Banner Hospital and its manager is a former nurse with a specialty in eldercare and 15 years of experience. Unlike large communities where all residents are treated the same, Class Act is large enough to make the environment pleasant while being intimate and flexible enough to customize all care for your loved one, including afternoon walks and activities for those who desire such diversions. In addition, with caregivers who know each resident personally, they can handle meds from beginning to end and will communicate with the residents’ doctors directly and have the local pharmacy deliver your loved one’s medications straight to their facility, to take the worry off your shoulders. Class Act’s staff is trained specifically for residents with dementia. They have ongoing dementia training every 3 months, and with their calm residential setting they can provide you’re your loved-one with a safe loving environment. In addition, the last thing you want is to move mom or dad from one facility to another when their condition changes. Class Act is able to care for your loved one until end of life. When it comes to meals, Class Act is like a large family, eating together in a family community style for all three meals. Meal time is always an opportunity for the family to connect at any of the three home cooked meals served every day made with quality ingredients purchased at local farmers markets and they are able to accommodate most all dietary needs, including gluten free. Entertainment is important at Class Act. Every morning they have exercise specific to elderly residents and in the afternoon you’ll often find the group doing crafts or playing bingo. If your mom or dad likes to be pampered, they do nails weekly and have a hair stylist on site every Thursday. The best part it’s all inclusive. In addition, they have music therapy every other Sunday provided by Audrey’s Angels their local partner and Arizona’s leading music therapy group. Want to know more about Class Act?
