Mountain Views and Relaxed Lifestyle at Peak Care - Scottsdale Assisted Living

Peak Care Assisted Living home in Scottsdale is nestled in the northern section of the city, where stunning mountain views complement the easy lifestyle our residents really soak up.

Here in our spacious home, they receive 24/7 care from expert, licensed caregivers (including awake staff at night) dedicated to their safety and comfort. They sleep and relax in large private rooms or in our cozy common areas where they can watch favorite movies, chat with one another, or join in a board or card game.

During our wonderful Arizona weather,, they can unwind outdoors on our patio to take in the palm trees and landscaped gardens with fountain framing the mountain view.

Senior Lifestyle and Care Tailored to Individual Assessments and Preferences

We work with medical staff to assess each resident before he or she moves in to ensure nothing is overlooked, from medical and pharmaceutical needs to emotional outlook and individual tastes.

We then craft a care plan that meets these requirements and more. We work closely with family members, who almost always bring insights that help us create the best home life for their loved one.

As a smaller care facility for ten residents, we can tailor activities to meet individual preferences. Our licensed caregivers lead (and sometimes co-lead with residents) chair exercises, games (bingo, cards, board games), and music, which has become a standout here. We have a grand piano and are very lucky to have a caregiver who loves to play. Recently, we discovered one of our residents is also a gifted player!

We welcome residents’ guests—family, friends, and their well-behaved pets. Our housedog Rosie is a gentle soul who welcomes everyone with a sniff and if you’re lucky, a lick.

Family-Style Living with Private Rooms

All our residents have private rooms. Six have private baths and four share two Jack and Jill-style bathrooms. Bathrooms are fully accessible and have zero-depth showers. All rooms have call systems to alert staff, and we provide daily housekeeping and laundry services.

While residents like their privacy, they enjoy our family-style dining. We prepare three home-cooked meals daily, paying attention to dietary and nutritional needs and individual preferences. Snacks are available throughout the day, and we always welcome suggestions.

Our common areas are the focus for much of our daily life. It’s where we have games, exercises, parties, and other entertainment. Our media room includes a wide screen TV with a cable hook up and a DVD player for favorite movies; lately, there’s been renewed interest in Gone With The Wind.

We provide Internet access as well. Some residents have discovered video chat and connect to out-of-town friends and family with Skype and Facetime.

We can continue to care for residents as they needs change and near the end of life. We care for bedbound residents and have lift equipment to minimize discomfort. We provide wound care and hospice. We contract for more specialized services such as respiratory and home health care.
